My stash

I was attempting to organize my yarn stash this morning. I dumped it all in the floor and took a picture of it. I have a lot more than I realized!I bought some from ebay not long ago, and a nice lady gave me a HUGE bag full the other night. From the looks of it, I could stay busy for a long time!

Sophie

Here's a picture of Sophie, my Cocker Spaniel with an abnormal attachment to me. She's so cute! In this picture, she was torn between my calling her and her ball that my husband has in his hand. She has a serious tennis ball addiction. She has one in her mouth 23 of 24 hours out of the day (okay, I might have embellished, but she's always got one near), and if she gets one in a spot where she can't get it out, even the neighbors know it. :) When it storms, she takes her ball and curls up in bed with us. Anyway, I've talked so much about her, I thought I'd post her pic!

Crocheted Pot Holder

Here's a crocheted pot holder I finished a couple of nights ago. I didn't use a pattern, but I'm sure this same pot holder has been done by hundreds of people, hundreds of times. I chained 23, and did 13 rows of double crochets. I crocheted two pieces like this and then attached them with a single crochet around the edges, adding another row of single crochet all the way around for a border. This is nothing fancy, but was fun and quick to make.

Fashion doll dress.

Here is a picture of a Barbie dress I finished tonight. I actually did the bulk of it this morning and then just put the finishing fringes around the straps tonight. This is the first doll dress I have ever made. You see my daughter holding Barbie. Barbie wouldn't show her face as she has recently had a haircut :) (Please ignore the construction in the background!)
